Lipschitz curve selection and its application to Thamrongthanyalak’s open problem

We solve an open problem posed by Thamrongthanyalak on the definable Banach fixed point property. Lipschitz curve selection is a key to our solution. In addition, we show a definable version of the Caristi fixed point theorem.
